In City of Heroes how do i use coordinates to find people ?

I need to find penelope yin an npc at the coordinates -900,0,-492.5 ? How do i do this ? also if i can figure out coordinates i can get to badge locations. tyvm !

First of all, I recommend Vidiotmaps. That is a third party mod that will show all the contact locations and badge locations right on your ingame map. It also shows you what kinds of baddies to expect in different regions of each zone. It's a solid program, and I've never known anyone to have a problem with it. That being said, I think you're looking for the location command (/loc). Any time you are in the game, type /loc into your chat window (then you'll want to up-arrow enter, so you don't have to KEEP typing /loc) and it will give you 3 numbers, like the three you show in your question. One of those numbers is the E/W coordinate. One is the N/S coordinate. One is the elevation (that one will help when it's BELOW where you're standing, which happens). Sorry, I can't remember the order of them without looking in the game.

The coordinate system is not very intuitive, in my opinion. I suggest that you move around a little, entering /loc at intervals to get the hang of how it works. You should be able to hone in on Penelope Yin from there. Yes, you can find badges that way too, but once you get Vidiotmaps, you'll only still want to use /loc in zones that are completely dark to you.....so that you'll know which area to clear while looking for the Vidiotmaps badge icon.
