In Clarksville,Tn what is the best preschool?

My son will be almost 4 in the fall this coming school year. We are looking for a nice preschool for him and was also wonder the cost of it.

Talk to parents of children his own age.  They would have the best idea.  Otherwise hit the phonebook and start searching.  Good Luck!!!!!!!!

Call your local elementary school, social service agencies, and churches.  They should be able to give you a list to check out.  Visit all the agencies they tell you about.  Find out what kind of license they have.  Ask what sort of credentials and experience the teaching staff have.  Ask what schedule the children follow, and try to observe a class in progress.  Don't overlook Head Start.  They often have excellent programs, and though they are income qualified programs, most of them accept over-income kids too for various reasons and you may qualify.  Once you have selected a program, plan to volunteer a little time in the classroom, at least once a month if possible, so you can see what your child is experiencing.

Remember, an involved parent models good values for the child.  Your child will know that you value their educational experience, and you must show that you enjoy it so that your child will know that learning is fun!
