In Digimon World Championship,how do you know what is required for a digimon to digivolve?

I've been playing DWC for a while now and I wanted my koromon to digivolve into Agumon but instead it digivolved into a toyagumon.How do I check the requirements needed for digivolution???

Koromon to Agumon, you just have to keep raising it's Dragon EXP.

There's a walkthrough that tells you what digimon can digivolve to what with whatever exp needed.

Otherwise it's pretty hit and miss. Sometimes when they're about to Digivolve to mega, you'll get a message saying to up ___ exp and play ## battles, etc..
