  1. It means that you need to check all four areas of the intersection before moving through......


  2. I was taught that it means you stay in your assigned lane when making a turn. do not start the drift over the white line signifying the stopping position of other vehicles in their lane.

    You see big trucks do this most of the time,,rather than make a arc type tun,,they swing wide and then turn sharp.

  3. it means to position your vehicle "squarely" when approaching an intersection.  There are no lane markings usually through intersections, also  sometimes when roads cross, lanes "drift" or "shift" so you have to correct your path.
