  1. you can get there by taxi

  2. I guess you mean Croke Park... from O'Connell Street take any bus to Drumcondra and get off where you see the Dart bridge over the street. Walk down Clonliffe Road (they close it to traffic when there is a big match on) and follow the crowd!

They play all sports at the moment there... rugby, hurling, gaelic football and soccer. And of course concerts!

  3. Croke Park you mean but Crook does sound funny.  I think the first Rugby was played there this year and it has been used for concerts for years.  I think it is used for playing Irish Football.

  4. You obviously mean Croke Park Stadium.

    It's about 1 mile from O'Connell St.

Go to the top of O'Connell St. north 'till you reach Dorset St.  Walk along this street till you reach Binn's Bridge, do a right turn onto Clonliffe Road and you are there.

It's the home of Gaelic Football and Hurling, but is on loan to the IRFU and the FAI while Lansdowne Road is being rebuilt.  Open air concerts are also held there in the summer.

  5. from o'connell street taxi will cost less than six euros or bus one euro five cents { 16, 16a, 746, any bus 11, 40, 41 etc} get down at ulster bank in dorset street and take a five mins walk down to croke park.

  6. It is mainly used for gaelic games - football, hurling and camogie, but it is used for other sports such as soccer and rugby. It has also been used for American football and 'compromise rules' games with Australian Rules football teams.

It once hosted Muhammed Ali boxing and was originally a cycle track. It is also used for concerts.

Their site has directions on how to get there, including maps.
