In England can they say the "F" word and S**t on television without getting Censored?

I was wondering because I was watching you tube videos with jonathan ross and other british talk shows and they do not bleep these words. Is it because it is on a channel like HBO, or is censorship over there not a big deal?

They always censor during daytime programmes but later in the evening they stop censoring

Anything can be said on any channel after 9 including BBC1 etc. (not as poster 1 said HBO) anything goes including the C word after 9 on normal network channels

It used to be that you couldn't say the F word, regardless of the time.

Now, as long as it's after 9pm (the watershed) then they can say it. Same with sh*t.

The only thing they cannot say is the C word. I've even heard the T word used on mainstream TV... 10 years ago you wouldn't have
