  1. Adjectives provide extra information about the NOUN by giving details about its physical and psychological qualities.

    Complements provide extra information about the subject or the object and is required for the sentence to make sense. It an come in the form of an adjective phrase, a noun phrase, a numberal, a pronoun or a clause.

    e.g The teach considered his pupil a genius (a genius is the complement, giving extra info about the object).
