  1. go on the fifa manager website and it has a load of upgrades which you can download for free which deal with things like that. before everytime i went on the staff section and looked for a new scout the game froze, i downloaded an uprgade from the site and its fine now. additionally you could just wait for fifa manager 09 which will be out in november =)
