In Fantasy Football IDP leagues, what wound should I start drafting defensive players?

  2. You mean Round?

    I think it would depend on if you get points for return yards.  In my league, people like to sneak in Terrance McGee in round 8 or 9, because he gets a TON of return yards, thus scoring the most fantasy points of any defensive player.  Chris Carr and Ellis Hobbs are good too.

    But if you don't get points for return yards, then I would wait until your last few rounds to draft them.  Most of the best defensive players usually average the same amount of points each week.  Of course there are always the crazy weeks where an IDP will have interceptions for touchdowns and stuff like that, but you would be safe to draft your IDPs in the later rounds.
