No, it is virtually impossible to achieve such an accolade! You have t lose one of your pool games, then get through to the semi-finals and then lose the third place play-off!

Although France and England could both have achieved this honour this year!

Not in rugby, but don't forget the footie WC was held in the USA not so long ago. You have to get to the SF probably to have the opportunity of losing a third match. Great RWC and well done France.
