Question:

In French, does the adjective after striped (raye) change if the object is feminine (rayee)?

Basically when you write adjectives after dress- so if it is blue and white striped do blue and white become bleue and blanche or do they stay in masculine form

Sorry if there aren't any accents on my words but I don't know how to put them in

  1. iI's true that some adjectives of colors are invariable in French, but rayé is not a color, so it agrees. Rayée is correct

    If you want to add colors, then it's rayée bleu et blanc, only rayé agrees here.

    If you press ALT+ 130 and on, you'll get all the accents, cedillas, etc...
