In some parts of the southern US there are rednecks or "rebels" who display the Confederate flag and believe that the south should have won the war ... are there any groups of people like that in Germany relating to Hitler and his beliefs?

  1. yes there is people who follow hitlers ideologys still in germany, they even teach that it was a good thing in most schools!!!

  2. On the far right side of the political spectrum, there are people who share parts of the fascist ideology. This could be antisemitism, racism, hate towards cultural minorities, fanatic nationalism, favor for dictatorship or other things.

In most cases it's not the full spectrum, and even among those you will hardly find anyone who says, that the mass murder on jews and other minorities was right.

Still this is a problem for the country. Some studies say, that up to 30% of the population share thoughts that can be called nationalistic or fascistic. Thanks to the education system, it seams to decrease in the younger generations.

It's nothing that usually shows up in the results of elections; most of them vote moderate conservative, but sometimes fear (especially about economical facts) drives them to rather radical parties, as it happened in some countries in eastern Germany in the last years.

The question is when to start calling someones conviction fascistic.

  3. Yes.  Just google "neo-n***s."

  4. yes there is people in quite a few country's who support Hitler even in USA and UK but luckily these nutters are very small groups

  5. There's "some parts of the U.S." too that relate to Hitler... where have YOU been hiding? (Ever been to Michigan?) While one country doesn't hold a patent on nuts, fruitcakes and crackpots -- that time was certainly the most MURDEROUS in world history.. thanks to one maniac.

(your answer is "of course" although, I'd even question WHY you're asking this.. and guess you're trying to be slyly provocative -- while ignorant of the real toll in human life by the 70 million+ across Europe & in fact, worldwide.) There's right now, n**i memorablia being sold on ebay... etc. and in fact, manufactured from scratch. You think there's not cults, and individuals that are dopey enough to believe that this, and basic tenets of it.. had something going for it? In Germany, that was attached to NATIONALISM.. and you know how dopey teen boys can be, just visit/surf their myspace pages.. if you can't relate, to others... some of them, certainly will connect that extreme past, to a time & a power, and a world threat.. and be excited by it. Sadly.

Don't you think there's a niche for anything.. when you learn that people drank deathly 'kool-aid' in our lifetimes, to kill themselves en masse (while wearing sneakers).. because they thought a Flying Saucer was coming, and they needed to free their souls for the gamma-ray that would beam them up to the Space Craft... but needed sneakers on, for that afterlife?

  6. We call them "Neonazis", that means "new n***s", or "Faschos", that's the short word for "Faschisten" or "fascists". The majority of the German people despises them, but I'm sorry to say that Hitler and his or his party's beliefs get more and more popular among the younger folk.

  7. i think that yeah...coz this is the way life is...groups that follow a specific political/religious/racial/etc principle might go down or slow activity for a while, but there will always be followers even secretly...and this is not only in germany...this is a worldwide thing...

  8. Can you define ideology of Hitler? Hitler was n**i, kind of Fascist, that believes to racism and use of violence to dominate the world, then it's easy to find similar examples.

Nazism and any political view contraindicated with constitution is illegal in Germany but still there are some people who believe to this ideology unfortunately and it's growing fast specially after uniting with east Germany, and racism and xenophobia is growing fast all over Europe specially in eastern Europe and after establishment of EU.

  9. Yes they are. It is even very similar to being a redneck. While the large majority of the "neo-n***s" are impressionable teens and twens rebelling against the social norm, some families raise their children to have "Aryan pride".  And some older conservative people on the far right wing of the spectrum frequently voice opinions similar to Hitler's ideology.

The difference between being a redneck and being a neo-n**i is that displaying n**i symbols is illegal. The German government works hard to crack down on neo-nazism in a legal and constitutional way.

  10. Yes but they do not just exist in Germany, we have them all over the world even in the USA.

Some are called Skin Heads, others Neo n**i's or the Fourth Reich.

It is said the KKK has had business with them as well.

    Hope that helps

  11. Yes, there is, but it is very limited and extremely illegal.  The largest amount is found in northern Germany, especially near the outskirts of Berlin.  It is similar to hate groups from any other country, the only difference being that it is against the law and has been every since the fall of the Third Reich, though it isn't strictly enforced.

  12. yes

  13. Yes, there might be, but it is illegal and you will go to prison if you publize it. Displaying the n**i Flag

or giving the n**i Salute is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN and you WILL be arrested immediately and the sentence is life in prison!

Germany IS NOT anywhere near like the Southern USA!!

  14. The Answer is "YES"

But not more or less like everywhere else in the world

    (except Israel i think ;) )

  15. first of all I need to answer Cameron W

never heard such a nonsens before. You never been to Germany and have a rich fantasy,

Of cause there are people around this little world that believe in all kind of bs, also in Germany are some left that believe Hitlers idealogy was right but the very good thing is, in a couple of years they are 6 feet under.

Neo-n**i's are all over the world and always will but WE need to STOP them, they are nuts anyway and 99% got an IQ of less than a german shepard dog.

  16. Yes. Some people like to pretend to be Hitler. Not necessarily in Germany.

  17. Outside Berlin there are few n***s in Germany  - my favorite city Hamburg is run by a g*y jew --- smile.  The Naziparty - the KKK and other groups are illegal in Germany - so are hate crimes. Germany is a beautiful country; just be careful in East Germany: n***s and communists
