why did they change rani mukherjee's voice?

i think her voice is better for that part than whoever's voice that actually was

They always change their voices - The actors and actresses don't sing either for themselves usually. Shahrukh Khans voice is always changing! But it was probably because they needed a different voice for her part -even if hers was better. I guess it's up to the director.
