  1. Yes

  2. Yes! The tee is only used to hit your first shot on each hole. Otherwise, everything else is directly off the ground.

  3. No you tee off at each hole, so that can be 18 or 9 times you actually use a tee.

  4. you 'tee off' at the beginning of every hole and are allowed to use a tee for the 1st shot on every hole.

    hope this helps.

  5. yes.You use a tee for your first shot of the hole. The rest are hit from the same place that they are when they stop.

  6. no you have the choice of using the tee at the start of every hole.

  7. Yes, however there is NO rule which says you must. But if you do use one then the rule is only at the Tee (the start)

  8. You can only use tee on the tee box on each of the 18 holes.

  9. It's the only time you use a tee to tee off.

However, I have seen tees used for other things like marking a ball on the green or cleaning ones teeth. However, I don't recommend the latter.

  10. Yes, you "tee off" from inside the "tee box" at the beginning of every hole.  Then you must play the ball from where it "lies" or you face a penalty stroke.

  11. No, you use a tee at the beginning of every hole. The tee not only refers to the peg that the ball sits on but also the area that you hit your first shot from at the beginning of each hole.

  12. Yes. If you use the tee at any other time then it is classed as trying to get an unfair advantage and you could get banned from the sport. For a while. But yes it is the only time that you use the tee.

  13. Technically yes.  But some friends were told by their golf instructor to use the tee on every shot since they are beginners and this will give them confidence and help them learn.  I wish I had been told this when I started golfing, it probably would have helped.

  14. "Tee off" is just like saying in football when you kick off, and after every goal you kick off again.

In golf you tee off once on each tee shot over the 18holes.

So you can use the a tee 18times, at the start of each hole

  15. Yes, you can use a tee on the first shot of every hole.

  16. oh yessy yes.  any other shot you have to play you have to play it as it lies (on the ground).  you can do it if you want but thats just cheating.  cheaters never win lol only messing

  17. Obviously, you are not a golfer. Although it is not mandatory to use a tee, a player has the option to tee his ball on his first shot on every hole. Since there are 18 holes in a regulation course, a player may tee for as much as 18 times. There are even times when the player may tee more than once on the same tee box as when his original shot went out-of-bounce.

  18. Not strictly - Tee Off normally refers to just your first shot of the day, on the first shot of the first hole.  You use a tee on every hole, on your first shot at that hole.
