In Google.fr, what is difference between "Pages Francophones" &"Pages France"?

what is difference between the pages/ search results for both?

    i might add that when yu do search on Francophone pages..you will have results from, switzerland,belgium etc.... including canada (quebec) and so on...


  2. There are 300,000,000 "francophones" in the world, but only 64,000,000 French... Do you see the difference now?

    "Pages francophones" can be french, but also canadian, belgian, swiss, african... whereas "Pages France" are always French.

  3. Francophones are those who speak French - and there are French speakers all over the world, not just in France. There are French speakers in the Pacific and in North Africa, for Example - and then there's Canada.

    So the first one means French speakers, and the other means for people in France itself.
