  1. only if the second wand is taken from another wizzard in a deul

  2. not at the same time, but yes.

  3. Well, you always have your first one, and if you duel someone and win, then you have 2 wands.

  4. Technically speaking, any wand can produce magic for a wizard; it's just that the quality of magic depends on the relationship between wizard and wand.  We saw that throughout the book as Ron used Charlie's old wand (before it broke) and Harry used the Blackthorn wand, Hermione's wand and Draco's wand in the final book.  Draco's wand worked much better for him then the Blackthorn wand though, as he had rightfully won the wand from Draco by snatching it from his hand; the Blackthorn wand, however, was given to him by Ron (who had taken it from some Snatchers.)  A wand that you have not won will not work well for a wizard, but a wand that you have won produces better results.  Neither, of course, is as good as the wand that chooses you.

To answer your question, I do not think more than one wand can choose you; at the very least, it's quite unlikely!

  5. hmmm...Probably...But the one which works best for the wizard or the one he is best suited for will be the one chosen. It is unlikely though that the level of compatibility between the two wands will be realtively High! One is bound to be more compatible. Also, each wand has a core, and a particular lentgh. The length of a wand depends on the length of the wizards arm, and the core ultimately depends on what type of magic the wizard prefers. If a wizard is more apt for Transfiuration , for example, then that person will be more favourable to a particular core.

And also of course if the wand is won, then that wand will give you its allegiance...making you an owner of two wands...much like Harry and Dumbledore!

So I think its possible, but Highly unlikely! And it very rarely happens (I think)

  6. Supposedly the only time this ever happened was when Harry's wand had also choosen "the one we do not speak of", who's exact wand ended up killing Harry's parents. At least that's what the movie sad.

  7. ask dumbledore

  8. i think any wand can be used if the user is magical (and even magical creatures and house elves and goblins can use wands but they are not allowed to) this was proven correct in the deathly hallows when harry had malfoy's and hermione had bellatrix's and voldemort tried several ones to get over the connection between his and harry's ...but as it was made clear in the first movie and after it by ollivander "that the wand chooses the master" not the master chooses the wand, so if a master deliberatly chooses a wand that's not his it will work for him an'all but it won't be the best one for him and sometimes it might even work wrong spells (this was made clear also in the deathly hallows when harry had this first wand after his broke i don't remember the owner but it was a low standard wizard not like harry so harry was really disgusted by it and it didn't work well for him until he brought malfoy's which is by some way close to his abilities) so all i said proves that one master can work with 2 wand and more but he has to have his mark on one wand that becomes his forever, as for the elder wand everytime it had a master it suited him and didn't work hard with him but that's because the wizard who had it means he earned it in the battle which means he is an excpetionally powerful wizard so the elder wand would suit him and not seem too powerful or too less powerful for him, he earned it and it suits itself for him... but for your question i think wands have specific choices that they don't get confused and fight over one wizard,

all in all wizards are human and they have free will to choose what ever mind pleases while wands have specific owners yet they answer to other wizards too other than the owner

anyway i'm getting confused myself : 1 wizard "2 wands" is acceptable.....2 wands "1 wizard" unacceptable!

  9. I think that more than one wand would have to be compatible with a wizard, since wands can be broken (like Ron's) or lost or whatever else.  Maybe there is just an "ideal" wand that makes itself known every time a wizard needs one.
