In Harry Potter 5...?

In the fifth harry potter book, sirius gives harry a 2 way sort of magical web cam mirror for x-mas. why doesnt harry used that to contact him instead of dolores umbridges fire place?

It was in the bottom of his trunk and he didn't find it until after Sirius was killed.

Because he forgot about it. He feels bad about it when he realized at the end of the book. AFTER Sirius is dead.

He forgot about it because he just threw it into his trunk.

and then in the last book when hes going through his things he remembers it and wishes he had used it.

Kind of foolish of him to forget if you ask me.

He didn't use it, thinking it might get Sirius out and into trouble. Harry didn't open the package until  the last day of packing, when he found it shattered to pieces. Meaning that Harry forgot all about the mirror.

oh c**p i forgot about it lol. i guess he doesnt remember? maybe because he was in a lot of stress at the time
