In High School i ran 100m and got 16seconds is this good enough if im 12?

12 and in high school.  You are going to be at a disadvantage being younger than your peers.  The 100m is a power sprint.  Typically it is the strongest that run it.  Being shorter is an advantage, but as our new World Record Holder showed us, being tall is not necessarily a bad thing either.

Let's not focus so much on the time, but how to improve.  You need to focus on efficiency of movement (starting blocks, accelleration, and max velocity mechanics) and power.  Power is hitting the weight room and strengthening your glutes and hamstrings doing things like cleans, snatches, some squats.  Abdominals incl obliques very important too.  If you are male, puberty will help too since you will have more testosterone to increase muscle mass.

dont listen to B-RAD thats aload of rubbish your doing great keep it up just train loads and loads and maybe get yourself involved in you local athletics club.

Ok first of all don't listen to that B-Rad guy he is an a*****e...anyways 16 seconds for 12 years old isn't anything special i'm sorry.  However it is not as fast a second grader can run it.  16 seconds is probably a 5th grader.  However this does not mean you cant be a sprinter because if you really love it and are dedicated enough you can do anything.  You need to work on building the muscles in your legs.  Also since you are 12 you may not have gone very far in puberty yet so just let time take you.    But don't worry if you work at something with all your heart you can do it for with God all things are possible... Ru serious 16 sec??!! That sucks when I was 12 last year I ran a 12.6 u won't make it on the 100m team 16 is good for a 2nd grader no joke
