In Highschool volleyball...?

Question

How many games (matches) are there in a season? And about how long do they last?

it depends... ur coach knows the number of tournaments ur HS Athletic assoc. will let u join. As for games, u usually only play the other schools in ur conference. I coach at the HS level and we have 7 other teams in our conference. So we play at least 7 games, however, we have a few scrimages we're allowed and a playing date with one HS from our area but not in our conference... so really it just depends.. u can prolly ask ur head coach to she if she has a rough schedule she is able to hand out to u players.

Now, Duration?... its best 2 out of 3 games for freshman and JV lasting about an hour or so and for varsity its best 3 out of 5 lasting about 2 hours... depends on how fast the game is really going and it u take it to the max # of games.

well i played on jv and freshman last year....we only had 4 games for the freashman and i think our jv had about 23...we had 2 jv tourtaments and 2 freashman tourtaments..each game is like 1:30 and the tourtament was like 9 hours...

each team is differant..well thats how it was at my school
