    I use it  to school  my horses: its solid looking, and yet it gives, plus it lasts and does not  get hauled out too much.

    "In England and Ireland they have permanent fences which used to be growing hedges but over time they have been made of birch and are bigger and more solid than American fences. Horses tend to jump them with more clearance, if not they can take a tumble!

    There are also hurdle races over there in which the hurdles are made of smaller panels woven with a small quantity of brush. These panels can be knocked down if a horse drags his feet. Both the birch fences and the hurdles have a loud orange color on the top and bottom of the take off side of the fence to make them more visible to the horses."
