In IE7 running on Vista, when I click a link, how do I get the linked-to page to open in a new window?

I don't want it to open as a new tab. Nor do I want it to open over the tab that I'm on.

  1. Hold shift when  you click the link


  2. in ie7 click on tools > internet options > 3rd Setting down (Tabs) choose what ever you want.
