In INDIA why the trains runs late?

In India there are so many railway stations and trains. Weather and the other technical conditions and Chain Pull by the passenger are few reasons for trains to run differently (speed). Now a days agitation are main reason.

Because if you ever seen that way they ride there trains, it's a wonder that the trains can get one mile down the rails, without stopping to scrap off the remains of the poor soul, who slipped onto the rail to only be carried in the baggage car to the morgue as a victim of travel.

Because , Either Train desn't departure in time from the starting point or else may be some cross junction between two train, suppose one train get delayed in time Train also get into the time lagging behind the actual time of arrival. To over come this delay the whole Railway employees maintain the time.

I m not a train passenger but once a time ,i was in train from delhi to mumbai it take three days to me.Now i think this way runs late.The trains are late in india because they know the passengers who are travelling have much more idle time.

Well Trains as well as other means or transport run late not only in India but almost all the counties. The frequency of that happening in India might be bit higher than few other countries but that is because there is too much pressure on the infrastructure and the planning for the same is not proper nor done with keeping future requirements in mind.
