'Tendulkar vs Warne' is quite possibly the greatest battle between a batsman and a bowler in the history of cricket.

'Cricket God' vs 'King of Spin' (ONE FOR THE AGES)

We may see this battle one more time.Let's hope Sachin stays at the wicket for 12 overs at least when playing against Rajasthan.Warny has already expressed his desire to get Tendulkar out one more time in the IPL in an interview with CNN-IBN.

  1. hmmmm i'm not excited at all !!

Well Warney is well past his best, he is un-fit, and he hasn't bowled in a match situation for about 6 months. Warne will be far from his best in the IPL, so the contest has only 1 winner, Tendulkar will hit Warne (if Tendulkar stays in) all over the park.

If i wanted to see Tendulkar hitting Warne all over the park, i would watch some DVD's of some past India vs Australia matches NOT the IPL.

EDIT- Like i said before i have seen Warne vs Tendulkar before in the good old day, and yeah it will be pretty nostalgic to see the 2 again, BUT Warne is a poor excuse for a cricketer now, so it won't be like seeing them in the past

  2. It will be interesting to see who is still the strongest Monti, as I think there isn't too much  difference in their ages, is there?

  3. india rules

  4. I just hope Sachin plays his best & once again let Shane Warne 've nightmare about Sachin!

  5. Yes. For me Warne-Sachin battle was most exciting battle between Batsman and bowler in cricket.  This has now been followed by the battle between Ponting and Harbhajan.

  6. Absolutely

It will be exciting... Warne and Sachin once again on the battle ground,, this time in 20-20

  7. ipl is going to put the "fun" back in to cricket.

  8. i love it....hope he is the beast on the field

  9. thats cool

  10. yes it was very excisting sachin team is very powerful sachin would broke warne record

  11. It's definitely an exciting prospect, the best against the best. It'll be like watching the games of old with rivalries being resurfaced, it should be great to watch.

I think this is one area that the IPL will definitely succeed in, as we get to watch the best players in the world not only playing against each other but (in some cases) playing on the same team.
