  1. India will never be a world leader until it abandons the cast system

  2. Ghandhi did... a lot of indians are lazy. Like traditional girls, like my mom and sister expect a man to do everything. Then they take more credit then is really attributed to them. Also, Indians will not do anything unless it benefits themselves. Most people wont, why wont you do something? Also, they mock and laugh.

I am not in India, I am in Canada.

  3. i need more points but i dunno

  4. Your question is by itself an answer. There are so many like u who think on the same lines.

There are already many young leaders emerging.

    So, the future isn't bleak.

  5. Well many are ready to come forward and work for the country. But initially who are educated and have the will are either eradicated by the system or slowly sytem changes them and they also become corrupt. We need a drastic change in our thinking to have anything work corruption free in our society. single man or a group of men cant do tht.

  6. I have seen many people asking the same question. First of all how and what do you define "change"? I am very happy with the condition of India. India has developed 100 folds in past 10 years or so. You cant expect a country to be ideal.

We talk about traffic rules and how no one in India follows traffic rules. Have any one of you thought about why that happens? I myself an a Transportation Engineer and I very well understand the reason for that. If every one on road start to follow traffic rules, no one would reach their destination. I site a very good example here: New York/San Francisco in USA has similar problem. Road users do not follow traffic rules in big cities. This happens because the infrastructure in huge cities cant support the amount of traffic. If the infrastructure has to be improved to accommodate the traffic in Indian cities, thousands and thousands of houses and businesses along the major roads have to be demolished for widening. If every one follows traffic rules in India like in US the amount of time to reach the destination would increase by 10 times.

Regarding corruption, I believe that one cant change corruption levels in a flash. It takes atleast 2 to 3 generations to change the attitude of people. I already see the change happening. Most of the educated people living in India and abroad are not corrupt. They dont offer or accept bribes. One need not do anything out of ordinary.

Literacy rate is another very  important thing. If our literacy rate goes up, corruption will automatically come down. If you see, most of the NGO's like ASHA, CRY, Two Cents of Hope or AID India or any major NGO was started by educated people.

All the educated people need not be a hero to change the country. I believe that every educated person in India is doing his/her bit to change the nation. Small things matter. Its not necessary to do something out of ordinary. Change should always be gradual.

I hope I answered the question.

  7. Change the condition of India..

    We need a strong leader..

who can implement all as follows..

    Interlinking of all rivers..

strong amendment .. only graduate can contest MLA/MP elections..

Make all villages to get road, School, Communication and English..

Equal treat in education and employment for all..............

Having strong knowledge based team(all Fields)...

  8. If the constitution permits and admits me to become the PM without any political party background I will do my best ,but should be supported by the  good public and pulic servants.Only the politicians spoiled and spoiling the country.

  9. The problem is with our attitude we people never consider India as our own country like people of other country. My own country means I follow every law of land, keep my country clean and green never destroy the assests of the country and so on. Since Independence we are following the systems made by the britishers including the copied constitution. Being the citizen of the most resourceful country of the world. It is required to prepare a system, laws, constitution etc. according to the requirement of the pepole of India. We should never cite an example "to make our city like paris" "make our country like USA" rather we have to make our country like India.

It is demand of the hour that the educated pepole like us come forward, take resposibility and become example for other to follow the laws/system.

I always take responsibility of maitianing the system in my office. I follow it and keep an eye on others. Presently I work for a Central Authority of Pollution Control.
