It's just bad english...they tried to use a noun as a verb...that didn't work because someone like you caught it. nice!

The ok was probably there to make horn sound like a verb. If you omit ok you'll have "Horn please" that sounds like you are asking someone for a horn.

Honk is probably a better word for this but I don't think British english used that word. They probably used Blow the horn or blow your horn.

This is a good question...it's like asking why do we greet people with a "What's up?" or "sup?" it doesn't make much sense, but it's the norm.

horn please is another seperate word which means to give horn.

and ok means its ok to give horn and to get  side to overtake

its made of 2 different things.

one is horn please....which is to ask of side horn please.

ok.... is used just to fill the space, and to show that they know english....when they dont really know.

bad english or gud english...grammatically correct or incorrect..doesn't matter...In India we have been brought up seeing this sentence on every truck. In Pune (one of the biggest city in India), there is one restaurant with the name 'Horn OK Please'....n believe me its a gud restaurant....just imagine the popularity of this sentence...for me this is the only english sentence known by every Indian and really proud that we are discussing it on Yahoo answers.

Bad English.    They most likely mean "Please Honk"   as you pass to be sure they see you.

Dear Gopal first we must understand one thing that these people who write in vehicles are not expertized in English .... it is just that they are writing in terms of their mother tongue.

The statement means something like this ....

You must Horn properly .. ok ... Please do it!

If you can convert this in to Hindi or Tamil or any other regional language it will make sense ... they have converted the same in to English with out considering the grammar and sentence making in English language.
