  1. You could look at Aberitzwith (Not sure exactly how it is spelt) in Wales. It offers a really good postgrad course in teaching

St. Patrick's College in Drumcondra is an excellent course provider.

  2. You could try the Marino Institute of Education in Drumcondra, Dublin - I think they have some fairly flexible courses for primary teaching.  Does your friend have a primary degree already? If she does, then the PGCE courses only last nine to ten months and are available in the Marino Institute.

Mary Immaculate College in Limerick also offers part time courses for postgrads in Education.

  3. Mary Immaculate offers Primary School teaching courses as undergraduate courses as well - you need to pass an interview & the points for the course tend to be quite high.

  4. I can recommend 3 colleges in Wales.

    Bangor in the North.

    Aberystwyth in the Middle.

    Carmarthen in the South. (Trinity)

I myself have studied part time in Carmarthen They do a flexi course in teacher training.
