  4. Alhamdulillah.

You are permitted to draw flowers because they are inanimate beings.

This ruling is taken from the Hadith of ibn Abbas (RA), found in Bukhari:

    Volume 3, Book 34, Number 428:

    Narrated Said bin Abu Al-Hasan:

While I was with Ibn 'Abbas a man came and said, "O father of 'Abbas! My sustenance is from my manual profession and I make these pictures." Ibn 'Abbas said, "I will tell you only what I heard from Allah's Apostle . I heard him saying, 'Whoever makes a picture will be punished by Allah till he puts life in it, and he will never be able to put life in it.' " Hearing this, that man heaved a sigh and his face turned pale. Ibn 'Abbas said to him, "What a pity! If you insist on making pictures I advise you to make pictures of trees and any other unanimated objects."

    Allah knows best.

  5. In Islam every living thing that God creates has a soul. The soul is essentially the 'fountain of life' or 'the engine of the living thing' if you like!. Living things include simple lifeforms (like the amoeba, hydra, germs, virus, microbes, etc), plants (including their flowers), trees & vegetables, animals and above all humans too. Hence we must not simply destroy plants and vegetations (including those beautiful forests) for no apparent reason or specific purpose, because they are living things, and they have souls. It is actually tentamount to killing them!

Of course there are exceptions to the above analogy. We are at liberty and allowed to get rid of living things that act as parasites or become a danger to human life (and to mankind in general), like weeds, cockroaches, rodents, flies, mosquitoes, germs, virus, microbes, etc.

  6. idk, they're living things
