No, I personally think that names don't affect your personality. My real name is Aliyah, which means "high" or "greatest" in arabic. I'm not sure if im the greatest. lol. :]

In my opinion, yes, name can influence your personality. Maybe you are little bit proud of who you are, of what you do or what you have. It's nothing bad to have little bit of pride, but when pride overcomes respect on other people, then that's a problem.

If your name reflects your personality its just a coincidence. This is a big world, there's bound to be someone out there whose name is just like who they are. Me for instance: Sarah can mean pure, happy, or princess....everyone says I live like a princess...but I don't think so lol :)

i am a muslim and i know for sure that the meaning of names in islam is really important. sometimes we really see that the name of a certain person really does affect that person's behavior. but i your case you are mistaken. having pride does not always mean bing proud. your name may mean that you are proud to be a muslim or that you are a proud muslim. this type of pride is good. so, think about it.
