In Islam, how will the world come to an end?

Doomsday or day of judgement or whatever thing you call it.. its when we eitger go to h**l or go to heaven.. how is it described in the Quran? What are the signs?

QIYAMAH WILL COME WHEN...

• When it will be regarded as a shame to act on Qur'aanic injunctions.

• When Islam will become a stranger (unwanted religion).

• When malice and hate will become common among people.

• When Islamic Knowledge (ILM) is lifted up.

• When Time will become old.

• When people’s life spans become short.

• When months and years and foodstuff will be devoid of blessing, (i.e. appear to be very short and less).

• When untrustworthy people will be regarded as trustworthy and the trustworthy will be regarded as untrustworthy.

• When the liars will be regarded as truthful and the truthful will be regarded as liars.

• When violence, bloodshed and anarchy become common.

• When people will boast upon their palatial mansions.

• When women with children become displeased (on account of them bearing off-spring) and barren women remain happy (on account of having no responsibility of off-spring).

• When oppression, jealousy and greed become the order of the day.

• When people begin to die in large numbers.

• When lies prevail over the truth.

• When people dispute over petty issues.

• When people blatantly follow their passions and whims.

• When decisions will be given on mere conjecture (wild-guesses).

• When there will be a scarcity of crops despite abundant rains.

• When the fountains of Knowledge run dry and the floods of ignorance burst forth.

• When it will be hot in Winter (and vice versa).

• When immorality overtakes shamelessness and is perpetrated publicly.

• When the length of days is stretched, i.e. a journey of a few days is covered in a matter of a few hours.

• When orators and lecturers lie openly.

• When legislation in matters pertaining to my right (Deen) is handed over to the worst elements in my Ummat, and if people accept them and are satisfied with their findings, then such persons will not smell the fragrance of Jannat.

• When the off-spring become a cause of grief and anger (for their parents).

The Final Signs of Qiyamah:

1 THE CAVING IN OF THE GROUND

The ground will cave in: one in the east, one in the west, and one in Hejaz, Saudi Arabia.

2 THE FORTY DAY SMOKE/FOG

Fog or smoke will cover the skies for forty days. The non-believers will fall unconscious, while Muslims will be ill (develop colds). The skies will then clear up.

3 THE NIGHT OF THREE NIGHTS

A night three nights long will follow the fog. It will occur in the month of Dhul-Hajj after Eid al-Adha, and cause much restlessness among the people.

4 THE RISING OF THE SUN IN THE WEST

After the night of three nights, the following morning the sun will rise in the west. People’s repentance will not be accepted after this incident.

5 THE BEAST FROM THE EARTH APPEARS

One day later, the Beast from the earth will miraculously emerge from Mount Safaa in Makkah, causing a split in the ground. The beast will be able to talk to people and mark the faces of people, making the believers’ faces glitter, and the non-believers’ faces darkened.

6 THE BREEZE FROM THE SOUTH

A breeze from the south causes sores in the armpits of Muslims, which they will die of as a result.

7 DESTRUCTION OF THE KA'BAH

The Ka'bah will be destroyed by non-Muslim African group. Kufr will be rampant. Hajj will be discontinued. The Qur’an will be lifted from the heart of the people, 30 years after the ruler Muquad’s death.

8 FINAL SIGN OF QIYAMAH: FIRE IN YEMEN

The fire will follow people to Syria, after which it will stop.

COMMENCEMENT OF QIYAMAH

Some years after the fire, Qiyamah begins with the Soor (trumpet) being blown. The year is not known to any person. Qiyamah will come upon the worst of creation.

MOON BURIED IN DARKNESS, SUN & MOON ARE CONJOINED TOGETHER

Qiymah (75:6-10)

"He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?" At length, when the sight is dazed and the moon is buried in darkness, and the sun and moon are joined together that Day will Man say; "Where is the refuge?"

PROPHECIES COME TRUE:

Fussilat (41:53)

"We will show them Our signs in all the regions of the earth and in their own souls until they clearly see that this is the truth."

JESUS COMES BACK:

Zukhruf (43:61)

"And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment: therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me: this is a Straight Way."

LIGHTENED (GOOD) & DARK (BAD) FACES:

Qiyammah (75:22-24)

"Some faces, that Day, will beam (in brightness and beauty) - Looking towards their Lord; And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal."

The signs are the same Fear creating ones that other religions before used for centuries...it works in this case too.

Islam or Christian or Hindu? What does it matter? We live in one and the same world. If that world (Earth) is going to an end, then say bye bye sweet world. Don't forget to say thank you, and sorry for all the selfish trouble we made. Not to mention the trash we leave behind.

11. Naked, destitute, barefoot shepherds will compete in building tall buildings.

12. The slave-woman will give birth to her master or mistress.

13. A trial (fitnah) which will enter every Arab household.

14. Knowledge will be taken away (by the death of people of knowledge), and ignorance will prevail.

15. Wine (intoxicants, alcohol) will be drunk in great quantities.

16. Illegal sexual intercourse will become widespread.

17. Earthquakes will increase.

18. Time will pass more quickly.

19. Tribulations (fitan) will prevail.

20. Bloodshed will increase.

21. A man will pass by the grave of another and wish he was in the latter’s place.

22. Trustworthiness will be lost, i.e. when authority is given to those who do not deserve it.

23. People will gather for prayer, but will be unable to find an imam to lead them.

Future

24. The number of men will decrease, whilst the number of women will increase, until for every man there are 50 women.

25. The Euphrates will reveal a treasure of gold, and many will die fighting over it, each one hoping to be the one who gains

the treasure.

26. The Romans (Europeans) will come to a place called A’maq or Wabiq, and an army of the best people will go forth from Madinah to face them.

27. The Muslim conquest of Rome.

28. The Mahdi (guided one) will appear, and be the Imam of the Muslims.

29. Jesus Christ will descend in Damascus, and pray behind the Mahdi.

30. Jesus will break the cross and kill the swine, i.e. destroy the false christianity.

31. The Antichrist (al-masih al-dajjal, the false christ) will appear, with all his tools of deception, and be an immense trial. He will be followed by 70,000 Jews from Isfahan (present-day Iran).

32. The appearance of Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog), and the associated tribulations.

33. The emergence of the Beast from the Earth, carrying the Staff of Moses and the Seal of Solomon, who will speak to the people, telling them they did not believe with certainty in the Divine Signs.

34. A major war between the Muslims (including Jews and Christians who truly believe in Jesus after his return) led by the Imam Mahdi, and the Jews plus other non-Muslims led by the Antichrist.

35. Jesus will kill the Antichrist at the gate of Ludd (Lod in present-day Israel, site of an airport and a major Israeli military base).

36. A time of great peace and serenity during and after the remaining lifetime of Jesus.

37. Wealth will come so abundant that it will become difficult to find someone to accept charity.

38. Arabia will become a land of gardens and rivers.

39. Society will then decay.

40. The buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daws will again sway in circumambulation (tawaf) around the idol Dhul-Khulsah.

41. A great fire in the Hijaz, seen by the inhabitants of Busra.

42. Three major armies will sink into the earth: one in the east, one in the west, one in Arabia.

43. An Abyssinian leader with thin shins will destroy the Ka’bah.

44. The huge cloud of smoke.

45. The sun will rise from the west (its place of setting).

46. A gentle wind which will take the souls of the believers.

47. There is no-one left on the earth saying, "Allah, Allah" or "There is no god except Allah."

48. Eventually the Day of Judgment is established upon the worst of the people, who copulate like donkeys in public.

49. The blowing in the Trumpet by the Angel Israfil, upon which everyone will faint except as Allah wills.

50. The second blowing in the Trumpet, upon which everyone will be resurrected.

I don't know that much, and neither does anyone else. But I have heard, not from the Qurran, that very tall buildings will appear or be built, that the sun will rise from the West ( which's almost scientifically correct since the Earth's slowing down and it's going to stop and continue in reverse motion). That Jesus is going to come, but it's gonna be a fake Jesus so we should be aware of that. A tribe of Youj wa Ma'ajouj will appear, and they spread evil to the world.

Remember I've heard these things when I was a child, I don't think it was mentioned in the Qura'an.
