but we want to just go sign the papers. Do we need to pay the marriage officer? What should we know about the procedure before going to do it? HELP!

you need a marriage license which takes 4 weeks to get. to get this you need:

1. birth certificates of the bride and groom

2. if either is a widow, a death certificate of the deceased.

3. if either is divorced, divorce papers

4. written parental consent if under 21

lastly you must be on the island 24 hours prior to the ceremony
