  1. The duty of any attorney is first to the court, then to the BAR, then to the State. If you hire a defense attorney, you're on the bottom of the list.


  2. The defense attorney represents the accused (juvenile) and the Prosecuting Attorney represents the State or County by trying to prove the defendant guilty.  Hope that helps.
