In Kansas City, can I buy a bushel more /less of oysters preferably fresh but have understanding?

Would love to eat some oysters not at a resturant, anyone know of a market that sells oysters by the bushel.

Yes, Dean and Deluca will probably have them, but you could probably get very fresh ones at a specialty health food store like Whole Foods a little cheaper. Whole Foods has 3 KC locations:

91st and Metcalf

43rd and Main

6621 W 119th St. (just east of Metcalf on 119th)

Try Dean and Deluca in Leawood...913 498 3131.... itll be expensive...but they will be fresh. I used to be the chef there... Its definitely worth it.
