In Lansing, MI Fox TV and NBC TV are sharing anchors.

Question

It is strange to see news anchors appear on both channels in quick succession. Anybody know what's going on? None have given a clue.

Many affiliate stations like NBC, ABC and CBS work out deals to do local newscasts for their local FOX affiliates. It is a big money-maker(more advertising dollars) for the stations. Very rarely do they have separate staffs or even separate buildings for such ventures. Most of the time they build a FOX set right in their NBC building. It is common place around the nation for this arrangement and many use the same anchors. It does seem strange, but it is pretty common.
