  1. No we never have rain in summer...that only happens in the tropical regions of the world, where most countries are exposed to an ocean, why? because it's more humid there and the dew temperature is very close to the dry temperature so when it's a really hot day, the warm humid air vaporises and rises up to form clouds whena wind of low pressure comes from the ocean and hits the warm air, thunderstorms will be formed and sometimes violent winds due to the pressure difference that is brought from the ocean's wind...

We have NORMAL hot summers with no rain at all...sometimes when it cools down end of august we get some precipitation but not a storm.

  2. No, it's different.

we go for 5 or 6 months with hardly any rain.

and It only storms in winter.

I know, it sucks to prepare a picnic or a trip to the beach and to know that the weather will be good.

  3. no....that's one of the things that surprised me when i went to Lebanon for the first time.

No rain at all in summer.

It's not as in my country that we have rain all the year round.........and i think in Australia is the same.....isnt it?
