  1. Go to 02 before 30th June, sign up for a year & cancel within 50 days. You will get all your money refunded.

1.1  The Promotional Terms will apply to new and eligible customers who sign up and accept the Services from 1 April 2008 to 30 June 2008 (“Promotional Period”). We reserve the right to withhold the promotion from any customer for any reason.

1.2  You may terminate your contract within the first 50 days after the Services connection date (“Cooling Off Period”) by giving us written notice no later than the 50th day after the Services connection date. You will receive a refund of any Charges incurred by you during the Cooling Off Period, including all connection, subscription and administrative charges. If you terminate your contract during the Cooling Off Period, you may not be able to request the Services at the same installation address for 6 months after the end of the Cooling Off Period.

  2. You can get in touch with 2 mobile phone companies that do pay as you go internet access; the main cost is the USB  fob, which can be anything around £90.

  3. I have a 3 mobile phone and have in the past connected to the internet via the phone for an additional fee  each month then cancelled the internet subscription after a month.Watch out for limited on down load, or you might be able to buy a dongle short term from the same company which doesn't rely on a phone.

  4. http://www.paygi.co.uk/

    Try this.

  5. the majority of libraries have interent access.

All you have to do is join the library near where you live and you should get 1 hours free interent access every day

  6. You could try pay as you go broadband (or a contract broadband - some companies offer contracts on a monthly basis).

  7. A bit naughty but O2 broadband do a 50 day money back /peace of mind guarentee. (But you have to sign up for a twelve month contract initially) So assuming you have a BT line where you will be living and it takes a week on arrival to order the Broadband (average), then 50 days after that just about covers your two months. Just remember to cancel saying that you can't afford it / not happy with speed etc before you leave! (Cost is £12.50 per month / free install /speed is good in London)

  8. some of the mobile phone companies do mobile internet (with one of those USB dongle things) on a pay as you go basis.
