In MGS4 how do i beat it without killing anyone?

on the levels with vehicles i am some how being recorded for killing people when i don't have a choice. i am talking about the part on top of Drebin's truck and on Big Mama's motorcycle. who can i kill and who can't i. Please be specific.

****** WARNING! MINOR SPOILERS! ******

You can't kill ANYONE, only unmanned vehicles like Gekko (the things that go..."moo"...) and Sliders (The things that fly around Raging Raven during the boss fight. You can't kill Raging Raven though. You need to first shoot her down until her armor falls off then you need to lower her psyche bar by using the stun weapons).

You can use:

- Tranq. guns like the Mk Pistol and Mosin-Nagant (The Mosin-Nagan is a 60,000 DP rifle)

- Stun grenades, Smoke Grenades, Sleep Gas mine/Satchel and I think you can use the emotion smokes too.

- Shotguns With Vortex Shot

-The Stun-Knife (even though it's called a "Stun-Knife" it still can kill if you cut their necks with it)

- The Solar Gun (you need to beat the game and get the 4 beast dolls and the Frog soldier award)

- And of course, CQC

On the motorcycle part, I suggest using the twin barrel shotgun with v-shots and stun grenades (buy a bunch from Drebin before following the guy to the hideout)

On Drebin's truck, use the V-shots with the shotgun and CQC them off. Tranquilizers will NOT work. You don't have to use the turret (unless you are shooting the Gekko or obsticles). If you have some, chaff grenades work will when the soldiers with the big power suits show up.
