Question:

In MTG, is a land a permanent?

My friends can never agree on this, so I want to answer the question once and for all. If a certified judge can answer the question, that's all I need.

  1. Yes lands are permanents. Their is a forum at www.mtgsalvation.com for rules questions frequented by a few high level judges which is great for rules q's

    Just avoid the other forums there :)  


  2. any card that will stay in play for more than a turn is a permanent, however it may be relevant that (believe it or not) lands are colorless, a mountain is not red.  

  3. yes lards are permanents any thing in play are permanents
