  1. you are a liar.  you are not in the Marines, and never were.  stop telling lies.  good job on fooling these tools, though.

  2. Possibly...... If you enjoy getting your butt whipped..... I watched a jump school black hat get decked by a trainee......only later to see several black hats take the trainee behind the latrine for counseling......the trainee signed quit paper that day

The system does not let the "tail wag the dog".....

In this case discretion is the better part of valor ..... I think the squad leader exceeded his authority and violated several regulations..... but it ain't the first time nor the last .

To compare the Marines to the Army is not valid.....two entirely different missions.....two entirely different styles

Got respect for them.....but after dealing with them in two wars.....would NOT want to be one..... their inflated ego gets good men killed

  3. No Navy lingo in th Army? sorry ever hear of a tank? they have a decks, hatches, hulls, periscopes, and turrets all Navy terms from the British in the secret design of the tank.

well it would appear that you weren't able to beat him up since he beat you up.

the Marines are the Navies personal Army, huh? you just came to that conclusion after 200 + years of that relationship.

  4. we use navy lingo b/c we have strong naval traditions. and for anyone who thinks the army is better why don't you read a book on america's history in war. there are countless times that the army has failed and the marines have had to come save their ***.

and teufel, the navy gives us rides where killing is needed. we're not their personal army. and i apologize for what i said to you earlier. i don't know your situation. i'm sorry you had a negative experience. your fellow recruits should have helped you.

  5. you are a p***y *****.  you should have joined the Navy

  6. That sums up my problems with the USMC.  The Army does not float carrier groups, the Navy should not field infantry divisions.

Chances are, your short squad leader was selected as squad leader for his ability to kick the entire squads ***.  That is way old school management, it works, but it is hardly the most effective approach.

Good luck with boot camp.  Next reup, consider the Army -- no freaky Navy lingo, no cute uniforms, just tough.
