I'm listening to Mavado - Touch Di Road , and he says :

" Him fada is a fish so mi know seh is a sprat dat. "

Is that another word for batty bwoy or is he just rhyming ? Cause I know some deejays rhyme and make up words.

  1. His father is a fish (meaning battybwoy) and so the son is a sprat (smaller fish).

Fish is another 'slang' word for homosexual in Jamaica.

Sprat is a type of small freshwater fish that has been popular as a traditional snack in some parts of Jamaica for over 50 years. SPRAT is not a word typically used to mean homosexual in Jamaica.
