In Mazatlan: Can you walk along the beach at Olas Altas around that point and reach Playa Norte?

Altas has the cheaper hotels and access to the Centro, but the beach doesn't look as nice as Playa Norte.

  1. Absolutely. From Olas Altas you can walk along the Malecon (Beach walk) up to Playa Norte and beyond. Over 6 miles if you feel up to it.


  2. El cid Castilla is the best hotel in mazatlan.  The beach is beautiful and you can walk for miles in either direction.  You can walk down the beach to Valentinos.  I've heard its a good surf spot, although I'm not a surfer. :)
