In Microsoft Outlook 2003, can I reply to an email with a meeting request?

The best I could do was to create a new meeting request and attach the particular email in the meeting request as a reference. But surely there should be some way to response to en email with a meeting request. Consider a situation where the topic in the email needs to be discussed in a meeting.

i don't think so-you accept or decline the meeting-try FW the e-mail with a reply message in it.
