  1. These are the most common turtles found in Minnesota-

    Blandings,Painted,Snapping,Flase map,Northern map,Ouachita,Smooth soft shell.Spiny soft shell,and Wood For you to have a diamondback is a great find and in the state of Massachusetts  the Endanger Act is Threatened which means could become endangered in the future so have no idea if this state has any laws for having or not ck with wild life  or game and fish people they may be able to give you more info.


  2. I rather doubt that state law would mention them, as they are found nowhere near the state. However, they are probably covered under federal law.
