  1. No, you can't do that. Not if you play by the rules.

  2. no you cant, if you have all three (2 or four) proberties, then you have MONOPOLY.

it has never been done before, unless you have one, and he/she has two.

  3. I'm a monoply collector and u can do wat ever u want to do as long as all players agree.

  4. You can do anything you want !!!  As long as the rules are agreed upon by all players BEFORE you start the game.

  5. No! You must never share a colour group with another player. If you share it, then you can't build your houses, hotels, and buildings.

  6. What you suggest is illegal in standard Monopoly but no unheard of! The is a version of Monopoly available only in Europe called Monopoly:Die Borse where players buy shares of the properties. When players land on properties in which they own shares they pay reduced rates and collect a share of the profits. However, money is only collected when passing Go so sitting in Jail and generating income is not an option! Read about the game here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/3065

  7. no

  8. no, that would defeat the purpose of the game

  9. Officially, absolutely not!

Unofficially, if every everybody agrees beforehand, go ahead, but I wouldn't recommend it.

  10. You can't share properties, you have to own all 3 in order to be able to build in the first place.

But, if you can talk another player into "investing" with you (by their contribution of cash for you to build houses and/or hotels) on your Monopoly, that's not against the rules...   There's no rule against talking another player into giving you cash.

  11. No for 2 reasons.

    1.  You cannot build on a property unless you own all of the colour.  Therefore I think you can't 'share' ownership or returns.

    2.  The object is to defeat all others by sending them broke, so I don't see how merging to become a superplayer can meet the objective.

Of course, if all players agree to modified rules, then who cares what came in the box?...
