  1. In dollars, one will recieve $200 upon the passing of go.  Now, this can be interpreted to mean upon the landing of, or after passing, but that is surely up to the house rules.

  2. Some people play the game with the rule that if you land on GO, then you get double the amount. I personally like that rule because you get more money!

  3. In the official rules you get £200 for landing on or passing go.

However, if all parties agree to amendments to the rules before the game starts then that's ok.

  4. ive always played yes you double it!! but everyone can play with there own house rules. thats the best thing about playing with family and friends. u make house rules and dont have a computer telling u its an ilegal move when you do something your own way. lol have fun

  5. when you land you go get $200  at least

  6. I know in Dollars you get $200 when you pass go.... At least that's how I and everyone I play with plays....

  7. You get 200 bucks in America. Can't say I've ever played "British" Monopoly.

  8. In the US, you get $200 for passing OR landing on GO. The equivalent is probably £100 or £150.

  9. yes, we play it like that too

  10. I'm not quite sure the exchange rate, but in the US you get $200 when you pass go, or if you land on go. There's no difference in landing on, or passing go.
