Denny Hamlin and I can not remember the other driver were in 2 unsponsored cars in memory of the death of the wife of the owner that they were driving for.

That is very respectful; loosing all that money from sponsors in memory of someone. That’s why I like Nascar. What a nice thing to do.

  1. What happend to your question?  Yeah, denny hamlin was the most noticable with a black car. I really didn't notice the other one though. Thanks for letting me know why because i hadnt heard why hamlin of all people had a black car. I must have missed it

  2. Yeah it was nice. It would've had been a bigger story if they won the race though.

  3. Hey Storm!  You bet I saw it.  Up close and personal.  lol

That was a wonderful gesture to show sympathy.  Makes me want to honor Fed Ex by using them.

Thanks for the "no drama".   And the email. :0)

  4. I saw them!  They were driven by Jason Leffler (#38, Great Clips) and Denny Hamlin (#32, Dollar General/ABF/Hass Avocados).  They were in honor of Todd Braun's mother, Linda "Mama B" Braun, who passed away Wednesday.  This was definitely a class act, but what's even more surprising is the fact that the sponsors still paid for the cars.  Denny Hamlin thanked all the sponsors for allowing them to run the all-black cars in his post-race interview. This is just too awesome of a gesture.

PS: Todd Braun is no relation to Colin Braun; they don't even pronounce their names the same!
