In NC if you don't take drivers ed?

Question

what's the soonest you can get your licenses or whatever? How does that work?

and does anyone know anything about online classes? I'm home-schooled, and I really don't wanna sign up at any of the public schools. :/

Rather than asking how soon you can get a license, you should be focusing on how soon you can begin some sort of drivers ed.

Online classes do not teach you how to actually operate the vehicle. Only real life practice, with the guidance of an instructor, will be able to accurately teach you that.

I've taken online classes, I've also taken Drivers Ed, Defensive Driving, and a few other courses. I've also watched plenty of my friends say they don't need those courses, and they fail miserably at both the test, and actual driving.

Just do the class, and be a better driver for it.
