She developed Tsunade's strength and healing skill. However, she is originally a genjutsu-type of ninja, so how come the only time she used one was when she dispelled twice (I think) and that is even before Shippuuden. She is still that tag-along who can't do much. How come she is portrayed still as being more weak. Remember that scene when Sai had to save her from the spider because once again she closed her eyes (lesson not learned from Tsunade). Why not use eye techniques more!!!

  1. at the beginning sakura may have been a genjutsu user but she was only taught to dispel genjutsu and a basic skills for a genin. later on in the story, sakura quits being a genjutsu user. she asked tsunade to train her so her she could help out more than just the one is being protected.

now, sakura uses medical ninjutsu. sakura isn't more weak. actually, she is stronger. she doesn't use much attack skills because her role in a team is to heal wounds, save naruto from dying. anything a medical ninja does. sakura also now got beyond human strength which is pretty strong. she definitely helps out more now than in the past.

  2. At the beginning of the series, Sakura is a Genin-level student of Kakashi Hatake and teammate of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Initially, Sakura's stamina and overall talent were quite below average, having had only used a few skills over the course of the series, the most advanced of which is dispelling genjutsu. Sakura's main strengths are her intelligence and her great chakra control. She was able to climb trees using her chakra on her first try while it took several days of constant training for Naruto and even Sasuke to manage it.

  3. From the start, from when she was training as team 7 and even as she was in the ninja academy,Sakura had always had a very good sense of chakra control and was able to understand it and apply it as we saw early on. Out of her team she was actually the first one to climb the tree showing that she is good with chakra control. Sakura had also proved on more then one occasion that she is also smart, and is able to determine and understand plans as well as avoiding traps. Although even with that Sakura really isn't a combat type, and is almost weak one it comes to that. Although since she has good chakra control she is suppose to be good at  preforming genjutsu, athough there really wasn't anyone to show her any genjutsu techniques, expect for Kurenai who was busy teaching her own team, and  besides genjutsu would require Sakura to go into battle which she is not used to,and all she could really do is dispel genjutsu which really any ninja can do and is learned in the academy. Later on,after being in a fight Sakura had felt useless and thought she got in the way,and wanted to learn something that could hep others, and that why she went to Tsunade to ask her if she could teach her medical ninjutsu. Tsunade expected and taught Sakura, this was good for Sakura because she could help others, and that medical ninjutsu takes very good chakra control which Sakura had. Later on during over the 2 1/2 years Tsunade had taught Sakura real combat skills besides just using medical ninjutsu. This also gave Sakura confidence in order to fight in real fights later on when she has too. Also the technique that Tsunade had showed Sakura in combat also required good chakra control too. So,instead of learning something Sakura really wouldn't use such as genjutsu she focuses her attention on something that can help others, and was as learning combat and getting stronger.

    Naruto Rocks!!!!!

  4. Sakura IS originally a genjutsu type ninja because of her chakra control and brains but unfortunately she hadn't been taught how to use Genjutsu, after all, it's not the easiest task to take control of all of your oppenents 5 senses.

Besides, now she needs to reserve her chakra for healing, evasion and super strength, all of which Tsunade taught her. This healing has to be a lot more precise and all 3 of those require a lot of chakra, using Genjutsu wouldn't help her do her job as a Medical Ninja.

And about her closing her eyes, although she's been told and taught not to, it's still a natural reaction, especially when caught by surprise...

    Hope I helped
