In New Zealand.. What type of price competition is bread?

  1. Well, perfect competition doesn't exists in reality, so it's not the perfect competition.

    Monopoly requires only one seller, so it is not a monopoly too.

    Oligopoly needs just few sellers (up to 10 probably) - but NZ has much more (over hundreds)

    Thus it is monopolistic competition - each seller may differentiate product and charge different prices. All of them also doesn't sell bread at exactly same place.
