I live in North Carolina and I have worked at this department store and I absolutely hate it. But today I just didnt go to work. I know its screwed up that I did that, but yea I did. And I am suppose to have my check direct deposited in my account tomorrow. Now since tomorrow is pay day and I have been there for two weeks, then I should be getting paid like everyone else. Even though I was a no call/No show. Arent they still required to pay me on the right date. Which would be tomorrow?

  1. Yes they are, they can not withhold it. But, it usually takes 3 weeks before your direct deposit account goes into effect. You might have to go in to pick it up.

  2. Yes, they are. And they've undoubtedly already processed the direct deposits, so I'm sure it will be there tomorrow.

The only problem, though, is that often times it can take up to a month to establish direct deposit with your bank.
