In Ohio, if you are 16 or 17+ and holding a temporary permit, do you stil need to wait the six month period?

I assume yes. In Canada anyone holding a temporary permit whether fifteen or seventy five has to go through the same process. You should be able to find out more information from your school or at the library they should have  book of laws that you would be able to look up more information in.
